(2120) Tyumen ( Latin Tyumenia ) is a typical asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 9, 1967 by the Soviet astronomer Tamara Smirnova at the Crimean observatory and named after the Tyumen region , a subject of the Russian Federation in Western Siberia [4] .
