“What is to wash it off?” ( Spanish: Con qué la lavaré? ) - a cartoon from 2004 by Spanish director Maria Trenor. In 2004, at the Berlin Film Festival in the nomination "Best Short Film", the film was nominated for the Golden Bear Award. At the same film festival, the cartoon was awarded the " Teddy " award in the nomination "Best Short Film" [1] .

Story
Morning in a poor red light district in Valencia . A transgender woman returns home after a night shift. In front of the mirror, she removes her makeup and changes her clothes, recalling the events of last night under the medieval song “Con que la lavare”. The cartoon is a tribute to the memory of LGBT artists who suffered during the dictatorship of Franco [2] [3] .
