Rodin, Boris Arkadevich

In 1976 he graduated from the Leningrad Technological Institute of the Refrigeration Industry with a degree in mechanical engineering. After serving in the army, he worked as an engineer in the transport department of the Executive Committee of the Leningrad City Executive Committee, since 1985 - as the head of the convoy, and then as deputy director of the Intourist automobile depot. From 1993 to 2005, he was the General Director of Intouravtoservice OJSC, combining the position of the head of the Intourist VAO association in the North-West of Russia. In 2005, he headed the Sergei Yesenin Foundation and the St. Petersburg Production Center for the Promotion of Culture and Creativity. As a songwriter, he wrote about 400 songs in collaboration with composers Sergey Kastorsky , Boris Bogdanov, Gala Rosa, Sergey Smetanin, Natalya Ivanova, Alexander Lygun, Alexander Oparin, Andrey Moskov, Philip Klibanov. Songs on Boris Rodin’s verses are sung by Joseph Kobzon , Larisa Dolina , Mikhail Boyarsky , Lev Leschenko , Albert Asadullin , Yuri Ochochinsky , Igor Nadzhiev , Larisa Chernikova , Anatoly Tukish, Bedros Kirkorov, Nadezhda Voevodina, Natalya Pavlova, groups (Via) ”,“ Singing Guitars ”,“ Friendship ”,“ Na-Na ”,“ Blue Bird ”,“ Bohemia ”and many other performers ^{[1] [2] [3]} . Boris Rodin - was the General Producer of the action dedicated to the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg " Vasilievsky Island - Vasilyevsky Descent ", held for three years at concert venues in Moscow - in the concert hall "Russia" and the Grand Kremlin Palace ^[5] . The song "Bells in the Rye" performed by Joseph Kobzon became the laureate of the TV festival "Song of the Year 2001", and in 2010 the play "My Angel" in the audio version was awarded the diploma of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation in the international radio festival "Theater at the Microphone" of the Voice of Russia radio company . In 2005, he produced and released the 2CD album "In this world, I am only a passerby ..." on the occasion of the 110th birthday of Sergei Yesenin. The album contains 21 track songs written by St. Petersburg composers to verses by Sergey Yesenin, performed by z.a.r. Anatoly Tukish. As director of the S. Esenin Charity Fund, he participated in the installation of three monuments to Sergei Yesenin in St. Petersburg. Boris Rodin is, among other things, the author of the Anthem ASMAP (Association of International Road Carriers) of Russia.
