Notes on the Spanish War ( lat. De Bello Hispaniensi ) - an essay previously attributed to Guy Julius Caesar .
The work is dedicated to the war with the last adherents of the rival Caesar Gnei Pompey the Great in Spain [1] . There is an assumption that the author of the manuscript was Caesar's friend Aul Girtius , but it was disproved. Most likely, Girtius was the editor of the Notes, as well as the Notes on the African War . [2] The text of the work is damaged in some places, it is preserved in only a few manuscripts [2] . For the first time, labor was translated into Russian in 1857 . In 2006, a modern translation of the monument was published by the historian Julius Tsirkin .
