Bykovo is a village in the urban district of Podolsk in the Moscow region of Russia . Until 2015, it was the administrative center of the rural settlement Strelkovskoye of the now abolished Podolsky district ; Until 2006, it was the center of the Strelkovsky rural district .

Population
According to the All-Russian Census , in 2002, 1,630 people lived in the village (749 men and 881 women) [2] . According to 2005 data, 1711 people lived in the village [3] .

Location
The village of Bykovo is located on the Simferopol highway about 7 km northeast of the center of Podolsk . The nearest settlements are Bykovka and Borisovka villages. Near the village flows the river Pakhra .
Attractions
- Near the southern outskirts of the village is the settlement "Bykovo-II." The settlement has the status of a monument of archeology [4] .
- Memorial Museum of Academician V.K. Milovanov and Professor I.I. Sokolovskaya.
- In the center of the village between the old House of Culture and the Ambulatory, until 2016 there was a monument to fellow villagers who died during the Great Patriotic War . After the demolition of the old building of the recreation center and the construction of a new one, the monument was demolished.
