Career

Club career

Anton Lazarev began his professional career in 2006 as part of the Mytishchi “ Chemist ”, speaking before that for the farm club of his native Chelyabinsk “ Tractor ”. In his debut season, Anton spent 11 matches on the site, gaining 1 (1 + 0) point. The next season was even more successful for Anton - in 24 matches he scored 6 (3 + 3) points.

In the debut season of the Continental Hockey League, Lazarev has already played 33 matches, gaining 7 (3 + 4) points, and in the 2009/10 season he played both in the KHL and in the newly created Youth Hockey League . Before the start of the 2010/11 season, Anton was sent to the club of the Higher Hockey League HC “Ryazan” , but after 12 matches he returned to the MHL, where for the remainder of the season he scored 35 (15 + 20) points in 32 matches held.

On July 31, 2011, the leadership of the Moscow Region club decided to extend the agreement with Lazarev for another two years [1] , but already on September 2 it became known that Anton had signed a two-year contract with Novokuznetsk Metallurg [2] . On November 5, in a match against Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo , Lazarev made his first hat-trick in the KHL, bringing victory to his club with a score of 4: 1 [3] .

International Career

As part of the Russian junior team, Anton Lazarev took part in the 2008 Junior World Championship, in which he and the team became a silver medalist, gaining 7 (3 + 4) points in 6 matches held.

In the 2014/15 season, he played two matches for the Russian national team at Euro Hockey Tour.

Father, Pavel Viktorovich (1970-2018) was also a hockey player, he played more than 500 matches for Tractor.
