This is the initial phase, the first of the four phases in the human sexual response cycle . A person’s sexual arousal precedes the moment of the onset of sexual intercourse or masturbation . As a rule, it occurs as a result of viewing and reading erotic materials, talking on a sexual topic, exposure to erogenous zones , memories, and communication.
