Halnazar Amannazarovich Agahanov ( Turkmen Halnazar Amannazarowiç Agahanow ; February 25, 1952 , Ashgabat - June 29, 2013 , Berlin ) - Turkmen statesman, diplomat. He was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan, Russia, Bulgaria, Germany and Latvia.

Biography

He graduated in absentia from the Samarkand Cooperative Institute in 1979.

He began his career in 1969 as a seller of Ashpromtorg.

In 1969-1979, he was a salesman, senior seller, head of department store, head of the trade department of the Soviet District Executive Committee.

Since 1979 - an employee of the State Trade Inspectorate of the Ministry of Trade of the Turkmen SSR.

Since 1980 - Senior Inspector of the Soviet District Food Authority of the city of Ashgabat, head of the trade department, deputy head of the trade department of the Ashgorispolkom.

In 1985-1987 - Head of the State Trade Inspectorate of the Ministry of Trade of Turkmenistan, director of the district food trade.

Since 1987 - Deputy, since 1988 - 1st Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Turkmenpotrebsoyuz.

Since January 1991 - Minister of Trade of Turkmenistan, since July 1994 - Minister of Trade and Resources.

Since December 28, 1998 - Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, later - Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan. April 23, 1999, released "in connection with the transfer to another job."

In April 1999 he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Kazakhstan , arrived in May 1999.

Since January 29, 2000 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation. Since June 2009, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Bulgaria in combination [1] .

Since May 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Federal Republic of Germany [2] . Since June 2012 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Latvia concurrently [3] .

On June 29, 2013, after a serious illness, he died in Berlin at the age of 62 [4] [5] . He was buried in Ashgabat [6] .

He was one of the richest people in Turkmenistan.

Relative, nominee and closest friend of Niyazklych Nurklychev.

Wife by nationality is Azerbaijani, Tubahanum. They have three children.
