Osman Akhyaevich Khubiyev (February 17, 1918–2000) was a Karachai writer.

Osman Khubiyev was born in 1918 in the village of Verkhnyaya Teberda (now Karachay-Cherkessia ). In 1933 he graduated from school, then entered the rabfak. He worked in the newspaper " Kyzyl Qarachay ". He participated in the Great Patriotic War . In 1944-1957 he was in deportation , during which he worked as a teacher.
In 1936, Khubiyev’s first poetic collection Komsomol Songs (Komsomol Dzhyrl) was published. In this collection were presented poems about the homeland, the party and the Komsomol , the friendship of nations. In 1938 the story "Abrek" about the struggle for Soviet power in the Caucasus was published. In the post-war period, Hubiev created such works as the trilogy novel Amanat about the Great Patriotic War, People (Adamla) and many others.
