Ghana's Ministry of Energy

The Ghanaian Ministry of Energy is responsible for expanding and ensuring uninterrupted energy supply for each sector of the Ghanaian economy in a sufficient, environmentally friendly way, for improving the distribution of electricity throughout the country, especially in communities and cities in rural Ghana. The ministry seeks to encourage private sector participation in the development of energy infrastructure and a secure future energy supply.
