Biography
Daniil Nikitovich Bely was born on October 20, 1897 in the village of Samotugi of Kholminsky, now Koryukovsky , district of the Chernihiv region in a peasant family.
He graduated from junior high school.
Military Service
Civil War
White in 1918 joined the partisan detachment, and then - in the Red Army . He participated in the Civil War , liberated several Ukrainian cities.
In 1919 he joined the ranks of the RCP (b) .
The interwar period
In 1926, Daniil Nikitovich Bely graduated from the Shot courses , and in 1934, advanced training courses for command personnel.
World War II
Since 1941, he took part in battles on the fronts of World War II.
During the offensive of the enemy troops, the tank formation under the command of Bely caused great damage, arranging tank ambushes. At the final stage of the war, he fought in Belarus , the Baltic states , Poland and Germany .
Post-War Career
In 1951 he graduated from higher academic courses at the Military Academy of the General Staff . Since 1955 was in stock.
Daniil Nikitovich Bely died on October 1, 1973 in Moscow . He was buried at the Golovinsky cemetery (plot 9a).
