Rean, Arthur Alexandrovich

In 1979, he graduated from Bashkir State University and was accepted as an intern researcher at the Faculty of Psychology of Leningrad University. A.A. Zhdanova . After a one-year internship in 1980, he entered full-time postgraduate study at the faculty of psychology of the same university and in 1983 defended his thesis. Then he worked at Bashkir State University as an assistant, then as an assistant professor of the Department of Psychology, after which he worked as a senior researcher, and then as the head of the laboratory of educational psychology at the All-Union Research Institute of Vocational Education ( Leningrad ). In 1992, at the Faculty of Psychology of Leningrad University, he defended his doctoral dissertation. Subsequently, he worked as a professor at the Department of General Psychology at St. Petersburg State University; He was deputy dean of the faculty of psychology for scientific work. In 1996, he was elected a corresponding member of RAO. In 1998, at the Faculty of Psychology of St. Petersburg University, he created the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of Personal and Professional Development and was elected its first head. In 2000-2004 - Professor, Department of Acmeology and Psychology of Professional Activities of the Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration ( Moscow ). Since 2004 - professor of psychology at Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia , at the same time (since 2006) - executive director and scientific director of the Federal Social Project ^[1] . Since 2016 - head of the laboratory for the prevention of antisocial behavior of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. In 2016, he was elected an academician of RAO.

A. A. Rean's studies are concentrated in the field of personality psychology, educational psychology, the psychology of antisocial and delinquent behavior and its prevention, the psychology of aggression, the problems of overcoming the negative consequences of social orphanhood, the psychology of socialization and social maturity of a person, the psychology of social adaptation of a person.

He is one of the creators (together with Y. L. Kolominsky) of a new scientific direction - social pedagogical psychology.

The author of more than 350 published works, including about 20 monographs, books and textbooks on the problems of personality psychology, social, legal and educational psychology.

Head and developer of a number of comprehensive scientific and practical programs, among which the most significant are “Prevention of narcotism and antisocial behavior of youth” (1998-2001), “Psychology of aggressive behavior” (Presidential grant, 1997-1999), and “Social protection of childhood” (2000— 2002), “Families and children at risk” (2002-2006), “Strong family” (2006—2011).

Member of dissertation councils at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov (in social psychology and developmental psychology) and at Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (in psychology of labor and pedagogy). Member of the expert council of the All-Russian Fund for the Support of Children in Difficult Life Situations. For a long time he was a member, and subsequently deputy chairman of the expert council on psychology and pedagogy of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation . He is currently a member of the expert council on psychology and pedagogy of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation .

Over the years, he was the chairman of the doctoral dissertation council on educational psychology, as well as the deputy chairman of the council on social psychology at St. Petersburg State University, a member of doctoral dissertation councils at the Russian State Pedagogical University. A. A. Rean is the creator of a scientific school in the field of personality psychology and social pedagogical psychology.
