Tatinets is a village in the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region . It is part of the Rabotkinsky village council. The village stands on the banks of the Volga (marina), 66.5 km east of Nizhny Novgorod, the height above sea level is 125 m [2] . The nearest settlements: Chechenino , Rabotki , Robin .

The village has the Transfiguration Church, founded in the XVII century, the modern building was built in 1820 [3] . A few meters to the west of the village there is a Tatinets pension [4] . Previously, the inhabitants of the village were engaged in piloting on the Volga [5] , “were famous” and robbery - Dahl recorded this fact in the saying: “Tatins yes Slopinets (villages) thieves breadwinner” [6] . There are 16 streets in the village [7] .
