Swimming at the 2011 World Aquatics Championship - 50 meters on the back (men)

50m backstroke competitions (men) at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships were held in the pool of the Shanghai Vostok Sports Center in Shanghai on July 30 and 31, 2011.

Qualifying heats began on July 30 at 9:31 local time ( UTC + 8 ). Semifinals were held on the same day at 19:14, and the final on July 31 at 18:35.
