Honored Donor of Ukraine ( Ukrainian Honored Donor of Ukraine ) - the state award of Ukraine - honorary title conferred by the President of Ukraine in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On State Awards of Ukraine". According to the provision on the honorary titles of Ukraine of June 29, 2001, this title is assigned to "donors who donated blood and (or) its components in the amount of 100 or more one-time maximum allowable doses."

Badge Description
- The badge is similar to the badges of other honorary titles of Ukraine in the category “Honored”.
- The badge of the honorary title "Honored Donor of Ukraine" has the shape of an oval wreath formed by two branches of bay leaves. The ends of the branches below are wrapped in a ribbon. In the middle of the wreath there is a figured cartouche with the inscription “Donor’s Deed”. Cartouche crowns the small State Emblem of Ukraine .
- The front side of the breastplate is convex. All images and inscriptions are embossed.
- On the back of the breastplate - fastener for attachment to clothing.
- The breastplate is made of silver .
- Breastplate size: width - 35 mm, length - 45 mm.
Benefits and Payments
The title “Honored Donor of Ukraine” is the highest of the three titles: “Honorary Donor of Ukraine”, “Honored Donor of Ukraine” and “Honorary Donor of the Red Cross Partnership” (or Honorary Donor of the Red Cross Society). Honorary donors are those who have passed at least 40 single maximum allowable doses of blood or 60 single maximum allowable doses of plasma. Honored donors - who donated more than one hundred doses of blood [1] . This status is assigned by decree of the President and gives the right to a pension supplement from 20% to 25% of the subsistence minimum for disabled persons [2] . For comparison, in 1991 the title “Honorary Donor” was carried by 1,464,000 residents of Ukraine, and the “Honored Donor of Ukraine” - 60 people [3] .
Early retirement for persons awarded the sign "Honored Donor of Ukraine" and " Honorary Donor of the USSR ", is not provided by Ukrainian legislation.
