Brukhovo-Morozov, Ivan Semenovich

Ivan Semyonovich Bryukhovo-Morozov - a Moscow nobleman, governor in the service of the Moscow princes Vasily III and Ivan the Terrible .

Came from a noble family of boyars Morozov , the son of boyar Semyon Borisovich Morozov , nicknamed Brucho and Evdokia Ivanovna from the Vsevolozhsky family. The first in the family of the Brukhovo-Morozovs . Had the only son of Ivan .

In 1523 he was the ambassador of Basil III to Constantinople , to the Turkish Sultan Suleiman I.

In February 1536 he was governor in Novgorod .

He died in 1539.
