The history of Onega Secondary School No. 4 began in 1966, and already in 1968 the first graduation took place at the school. The first director of the school was M.G. Rodionova.

In 1973, the school moved to a new building.

School principals were also: N.S. Anisimov, G. M. Malygin, T. G. Suvorova, R. P. Kuznetsova, N. N. Undozerov.

From 1977 to 1989 Our school worked on the profile "Production training with an agricultural bias."

For 45 years, 6930 graduates have been released from school walls.

Since 2003, the printed newspaper “School BOOM” has been published. In the 2002-2003 academic year, the military-patriotic club Avangard and the intellectual club Klio were founded and operate.
