History
The Ministry came from the past of the Ministry of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts , which was disbanded in 2007 . Responsibility for the arts was transferred to the new Ministry of Environment, Water, Heritage and Arts, and responsibility for the sport was transferred to the Ministry of Health and the Aging.
