Tsagaan-Uul ( Mong. Tsagaan-Uul , “White Mountain” ) - somon in aimak Huvsgel . Located in the southwestern aimak. It borders with Russia (in the north-west), aimak Zavkhan (in the southeast), somons: Tsetserlag (in the west), Bayanzurhe (in the north), Arbulag (in the northeast), Burentogtokh (in the southeast).

The area is 5870 km², of which 5190 km² are pastures. The population for 2005 is 5145 people. The administrative center is Sharga, located 138 km west of the city of Muren and 840 km from Ulan Bator .
According to 2004 data, there were approximately 61,000 goats, 81,000 sheep, 7600 cows and yaks, 8700 horses and 640 camels in the somon [1] .
