Geography

Located on the Kurdzhips River, in mountainous terrain, 23 km south of Maykop .

History

The village was founded in 1863 , on the site of the Adyghe village of Koy-habl. In the vicinity of the village old Circassian gardens are still preserved. The name received in honor of the 82nd Dagestan Regiment [3] . From the mid-1860s to 1868 it was considered the village of Dagestan [4] . As part of the Kuban region, the village was part of the Maykop department .
