Vineta Muizniece ( Latvian: Vineta Muižniece ; November 3, 1956 , Riga ) - Latvian lawyer and politician ( People's Party ). She worked in the Legal Department of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania and at the University of Latvia. She was an adviser to the legislation of President G. Ulmanis , Minister of Justice (in the office of I. Emsis in 2004), in the Sejm - chairman of the credentials and legal commissions, chairman of the People’s Party faction and vice speaker, since 2010 - judge of the Constitutional Court (election of Muizniece , according to the leader of "New time" S. Aboltini , was the fruit of the union of the opposition People's party with someone from the ruling coalition [1] ; judicial authority suspended in 2011 due to the criminal proceedings on the possible forgery of the legal commission Sejm in 2009) [2] .
