Paul ap Gliwis ( Wall. Pawl ap Glywys ; died in 540) is the ruler of Penichen (480-540).

Biography
Paul is the son of Gliwis of Glivings and Gwaul is the top of Keredig. After the death of his father, he created one of the many principalities.
Paul, a very pious man, was the patron of many Welsh saints. He received the young nephew of Kadok , allowing him to establish the monastery of Llancarvan. Subsequently, the childless Paul bequeathed to Kadok the whole principality.
