Biography
Guo Bosun was born in the county of Liquan of Shaanxi Province , a Han Chinese by nationality. In 1958 he began his labor activity, factory worker number 408. Since August 1961, serving in the People’s Liberation Army of China . He graduated from special courses at the Military Academy of the PLA. In 1981-1982 Chief of Staff of the 55th Division of the 19th Corps of the Ground Forces of the PLA. In 1982-1983 Deputy Chief of Operations, Lanzhou Military District PLA Headquarters. In 1983-1985 Chief of Staff of the 19th Army Corps of the PLA. In 1985-1990 Deputy Chief of Staff of the Lanzhou Military District of the PLA. In 1990-1993 Commander of the 47th Army Corps of the PLA Ground Forces. In 1993-1997 deputy commander of the Beijing Military District PLA. In 1997-1999 Commander of the Lanzhou Military District PLA. In 1999–2002 permanent deputy chief and deputy secretary of the party committee of the General Staff of the PLA . In 2002–2012. Deputy Chairman of the Military Council of the CPC Central Committee , in 2003—2013? yy Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Council of the PRC .
