The Koytendag nature reserve ( Turkmen. Köýtendag goraghanasy ) is a nature reserve in the Lebap province of Turkmenistan .

The reserve was created in 1989 on an area of 27,140 ha to protect the unique mountain landscapes of the Kugitangtau ridge. In total, there are about 150 species of plants , many of them endemic . The reserve is inhabited by 21 species of mammals ( vintorhorn goat , Turkmen lynx , white-clawed bear , leopard , bearded man ), 143 species of birds , 21 - reptiles , 2 - amphibians . Archaeological and paleontological monuments are preserved - traces of dinosaurs , Karluksky caves and Kap-Kutan caves.
