Zhulavy

Уuławy ( исuławy Wiślane ), a lowland region in northern Poland , in the Vistula delta .

The area of ​​the district is about 1,000 km². Zhulavy are separated from the Baltic Sea by sand dunes , composed of alluvial sediments . Part of the territory is below sea level (up to -1.8 m). Numerous dams and over 17,000 km of reclamation canals have been built here .

In the south of the district wheat , sugar beets , hemp are cultivated; in the north and east - dairy farming , in the northwest - vegetable growing .
