Biography
Mikhail Mikhailovich Kornitsky was born in 1914 on the Old-Green farm , Kuban region , now Teuchezhsky district , the Republic of Adygea . Russian . Candidate member of the CPSU . In the Navy since February 1940. Member of the Soviet-Finnish war . Member of the Great Patriotic War since 1941.
Early biography
In early childhood, he lost his mother, who was tortured by the White Guards, when his father fought in the ranks of the Red Army, defending Soviet power with arms. Having moved with his father to the village of Kalinino (now a suburb of Krasnodar) and after graduating from the school of kolkhoz youth, he studied for three years at the school of masters of socialist labor. He worked in consumer cooperation, and from 1936 he worked at the saddle factory in Krasnodar, first as a mechanic, then as a foreman. Here he joined the Komsomol, and soon was elected Komsomol of the shop. He married, his daughter Nadezhda and son Eugene were born. For his diligence and zealous attitude to the case, he was repeatedly encouraged by prizes and thanks.
In the Red Army
Called to the army in February 1940, 25-year-old Mikhail was sent to serve as a telegrapher at the 325th separate communications battalion of the Leningrad Military District , in which he participated in the Soviet-Finnish war. He fought bravely and, exemplary fulfilling his military duty, gained the necessary combat experience. In April 1940, M. M. Kornitsky returned to peaceful labor at his factory. He took an active part in the work of Osoavi-Ahim and was the initiator of the militarized transfer of the youth of the factory in gas masks along the route Krasnodar-Novorossiysk. And when the Great Patriotic War began, Mikhail Mikhailovich again became in combat formation.
In World War II
He was sent to serve in the city of Batumi as a telephonist in the communications company of the 36th Mountain Rifle Regiment of the 9th Mountain Rifle Division , which for many years after the war was stationed in Maykop . In May 1942, M. M. Kornitsky was transferred to Anapa to the post of commander of the telephone department of the 464th separate communications battalion of the Novorossiysk naval base with the assignment of the rank of junior sergeant.
Feat
The division commander of the 1st combat section of the naval assault force of the Novorossiysk naval base , the Black Sea Fleet , junior sergeant Kornitsky Mikhail Mikhailovich on the night of February 4, 1943 as part of the troop squadron commanded by Major Kunikov TS. ).
