Alexander G. Madera (born June 30, 1951 ) is a Russian scientist in the field of mathematical modeling. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1997), Professor (2001), Academician of the New York Academy of Sciences (1994), Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (2010), Member of the International Society of IEEE (2016). Head of the Department of Mathematical Modeling of Processes in Complex Technical Systems at the Research Institute for System Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences .

Biography
Alexander Georgievich Madera was born on June 30, 1951 in Moscow (Oruzheyny per., 16) in the family of Madera Georgy Ilyich (1905 - 1979) - an engineer - specialist in the design of building structures, a graduate of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, and Mlinik Elena Romanovna (1915 - 1993) - an engineer - a polygraphist, a graduate of the Moscow Polygraphic Institute.
After graduating from a Moscow secondary school in 1968, in the same year he entered the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM), which he graduated in 1973. In 1978 he entered the graduate school of the Research Institute of Molecular Electronics, in 1983 he defended his Ph.D. thesis, in 1997 - his doctoral dissertation at the Research Institute of High-Performance Computing Systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in 2001 he was awarded the title of professor. In 1998 he graduated from the Moscow School of Economics.
In 1994, he was elected a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, in 2010 he was elected a corresponding member, and in 2012 - an academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Member of the International Society of IEEE since 2016.
Since 2007 - Head of the Department of Mathematical Modeling of Processes in Complex Technical Systems at the Research Institute for System Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
He is actively teaching as a professor at a number of Moscow universities: Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (1991 - 2010), Russian State Humanitarian University (2004 - 2008), National Research University Higher School of Economics (2010 - present vr.). He teaches courses "Mathematical Modeling of Systems", "Modeling and Decision Making in Management", "Quantitative and Qualitative Methods of Development and Management Decision Making."

- 1974 - 1983 - developed a method of mathematical and computer simulation of the dynamic electrical regime of microelectronic systems taking into account thermal feedback.
- 1984 - 1997 - developed a stochastic approach to modeling heat transfer in complex technical systems and methods for calculating temperature fields in the presence of internal and external stochastic factors having arbitrary probability distribution laws.
- 1998 - 2003 - developed matrix-topological methods for modeling three-dimensional temperature fields of technical systems and their computer implementation.
- 2004 - 2010 - the creation of methods for analyzing the sustainability of decision making in the face of uncertainty; modeling methods and decision making in management; methods of analysis and risk assessment in the social sciences and economics.
- 2010 - present vr. - the creation of methods for analysis, forecasting and risk assessment in the field of economics, social sciences, psychology; modeling and decision-making methods that take into account risks and chances.
- 2003 - present vr. - creation of methods for mathematical and computer modeling of temperature fields of technical systems in the conditions of interval and stochastic uncertainty.
