Biography
Victoria Sharp was born April 5, 1971 in the western suburbs of London Wimbledon, and grew up in Godalming in Surrey . Educated at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts . Famous under the pseudonym Hamilton.
Married to actor Mark Basley, has a son.
Career
Hamilton is famous for her roles in costume dramas. For example, she appeared in the role of Ruby Pratt in the television series “ A Little Light - in Candleford ”. Her other roles include: Mrs. Forster from the television series Pride and Prejudice , Maria Bertram in the movie Mansfield Park , Queen Victoria in the BBC television series Victoria and Albert , Queen Mother Elizabeth in the television series Crown , etc.
She also appeared in episode 1 of season 4 of the Midsomer Murders television series, The Garden of Death, as Hilary Inkpen-Thomas , an oppressed illegitimate daughter who became a murderer.
Hamilton played in the theatrical production of The Builder Solnes by Ibsen , along with Alan Bates and Gemma Jones .
