The State Defense Committee of the People’s Republic of China ( Ch . Р 委员会 , Pinyin : Guófáng Wěiyuánhuì ) was the highest state body in charge of the entire Armed Forces of the People’s Republic of China in 1954-1975.
The State Defense Committee of the People's Republic of China carried out its functions together with the highest party body in command of all the Armed Forces of the People’s Republic of China - the Military Council of the CPC Central Committee .
