Ceretvitsy or Cherstvets is a lake in the Ivanovo parish of the Nevelsky district of the Pskov region , to the northeast of the city of Nevel .

The area is 2.4 km² (242 hectares, with islands 2.5 km² or 251 hectares). The maximum depth is 25.5 m, the average depth is 9.4 m. One of the region’s deepest lakes. [one]
Flow through. It belongs to the basin of the Balazdyn River, a tributary of the Lovat River. Located on the watershed with another tributary Lovati - River Emenka .
The type of lake is lashchovo-lame with whitefish and pike perch. Mass species of fish: pike, perch, roach, bream, rudd, pike perch, ide, gustera, gudgeon, whitefish, pinching, bleating, tench, catfish, eel, burbard, loach, crucian carp; wide crayfish. [one]
