Ace (boat)

Ace (boat)

Ace, tuzik - the smallest of the ship's boats ; has one rower who acts simultaneously with two oars; serves to move ashore when the ship is near the latter; has a light construction and a length of less than 3 meters [1] .
The name Ace comes from the English. two - two (cf. two's boat).

Interestingly, although the name comes from the English language, but this term is not used in English marine terminology, such boats are called Dinghy .
