Biography
Like his father, Iddon was baptized by Saint Beuno . Two facts are known about Iddon that characterize him as an ardent supporter of Christianity. Since Gwent was not far from the possessions of the Anglo-Saxons, Iddon once decided to attack them. In the battle of Llantilio Crossenny, he would surely have been defeated if it were not for the prayers of St. Theilo thanks to which he was able to win. They also say that one day Iddon went north to Aberfrau to avenge the death of his sister Divug at the hands of her husband.
