The founder of the new dynasty, which received its name Shutrukida according to the most famous representative of this family Shutruk-Nahhunte, the son of Hallutush-Inshushinaka. The origin of Hallutush-Inshushinak remains a mystery; it is also not known whether he was related to the Igehalkids. In all likelihood, the new dynasty was connected by close ties of kinship with southeastern Anshan , the area of today's Fahlian and east of Persepolis . We do not know anything about the deeds of Khallutush-Inshushinak.
