Earl of Kellie ( Earl of Kellie ) - one of the noble titles of Scotland . Was granted in 1619 to Sir Thomas Erskine from the Erskine clan by King James I. In 1829, the title of Earl of Kelly and the title of Earl of Mar was merged. Title holders are hereditary commandants of the Sterling Castle .
