The red-legged soft- body ^[2] , or the rustic soft-body ^[3] ( lat. Cantharis rustica ) is a species of soft-bodied beetles .

External structure

The body length of adult insects (adults) is 10-14.5 mm. Pronotum with black spot in the middle. All tibiae and tarsi are mostly black ^[4] .

The species is found throughout Europe , including the European part of Russia , in Western Siberia and in Turkey ^[5]
