Ringing (from three and ringing ) - a festive joyful ringing of several bells in three steps, one of the most common types of church bell ringing at present [1] [2] . Pealing is made after the Evangelism before the start of other solemn services, as well as during the singing of the polyeleus , at the beginning and end of prayers during the royal days and temple holidays, while reading the Gospel at the Liturgy on the first day of Easter and during the procession . Sometimes a long ringing holiday ringing can be called a chime [1] [2] .
In colloquial Russian, the word "ring" means "to tell everyone and everyone any news."
