Kurochkina Mountain - a wooded hill in the northern part of Ufa . On the mountain was the village Kurochkino, a village cemetery, there are burials of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, who died in the Chernikovka hospital (at school 61) [2] [3] .

Origin of title
According to one of the versions, the name comes from the Finno-Ugric Kuryk (Kugu Uryk) - a large hill, a mountain. According to another version, the name is inherited from the name of the landowner Kurochkin, who lived in these places in the pre-revolutionary period [5] .
