Gryazev

The Gryazev (Gryazevka, Gryazlivaya) is a river in the Istrinsky district of the Moscow region of Russia . According to the State Water Registry [2] and modern topographic maps [3] , it is the left tributary of the Istra , and the Nakhabinka is the left tributary of the Gryazev [4] . The opinion is also widespread that the Gryazev is the right tributary of the Nakhabinka, which flows into Istra [5] . Some modern editions adhere to this version [6] . The source is one kilometer west of the Miitovskaya platform of the Riga direction of the Moscow Railway .

Hydrology

If we assume that the Gryazev is an Istra tributary, then its length is 26 km, and the basin area is 109 km² [2] . If we assume that the Gryazev is a tributary of the Nakhabinka, then its length is 11 km [7] .

Historical inaccuracy

On pre-revolutionary maps, the Nakhabinka River is designated as a tributary of the Istra, and the Gryazev River is the left tributary of the Nakhabinka [8] . On Soviet topographic maps, the Nakhabinka is marked as the left tributary of the Gryazev, which flows into Istra. Thus, in the 20th century, the rivers Nakhabinka and Gryazeva changed places on the maps. Modern place names are inaccurate from a historical point, since, according to topographic maps, the Nakhabinka River does not flow through the urban-type settlement of Nakhabino [5] .

Water Registry Data

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Oka basin district , the water management section of the river is Moscow from Zvenigorod to the Rublevsky hydroelectric complex , without the Istra river (from the source to the Istra hydroelectric complex ), the river subbasin of the river Oka tributaries to the confluence of the Moksha. River basin - Oka [2] .
