After several rounds of pressure, Peter was asleep, and his fatigue was very noticeable. In the 9th round, Helenius sent Peter to a knockdown. In the 8th round, Helenius sent Sergey Lyakhovich to a knockdown, and already in the first seconds of the 9th round he brought a crushing hail of blows at the Belarusian. Only the intervention of the judge saved Lyakhovich from a clean knockout, because after stopping the fight, from the final blows of the Finn, Lyakhovich collapsed on the floor. Helenius brightly and confidently won [9] .
Fight with Derek Chisora
On December 4, 2011, in a battle for the vacant European title, Helenius met with the famous Briton, Derek Chisora. No one considered Chisor a serious opponent after a clean defeat from Tyson Fury , but the Englishman did an incredible and put pressure on Helenius. However, at the end of the bout, the judges unexpectedly gave the victory to Helenius. The meeting was held in a bright and competitive fight. During the whole fight the rivals showered each other with the hardest blows. Aggressor in the fight was Derek Chisora , who constantly went forward. Helenius also did not hold back his strikes, although their number was in many ways inferior to that of the British. And if in the first half the fight was of a competitive nature, then the second part of Chisor took more confidently. All the experts agreed that Chisora ββwas robbed by the judges and deserved at least a draw. Helenius claimed that he had injured his arm in a battle with Chisora ββand this did not allow him to convincingly win [10] [11] .
2012β2014
After getting injured in a fight with Chisora, Helenius recovered for a long time and only in August he moved on to full-fledged training.
Fight with Sherman Williams
Long before the announcement of a new opponent Finn, the upcoming date of his fight was already known. Helenius's original rival was his unbeaten compatriot, Jarno Rosberg [12] . But three weeks before the fight, the official rival was announced. He became a Bahamian boxer, Sherman Williams [13] . In the record of Williams appear 35 wins and 11 defeats. But despite the defeat, Sherman prematurely lost only once, and it was in 1999. None of the subsequent, experienced opponents of Williams could not knockout the Bahamian boxer.
To make a resounding knockout victory over Williams Helenius failed. The boxers went the entire distance of the 10-round bout, with a slight Finn advantage. Several rounds were equal, and in the 6th the Bahamian boxer was more convincing when Helenius was seriously shaken, but the Finn managed to hold out until the gong [14] [15] .
