Simkinsk narrow gauge railway - a timber transport railway in the Nurimanovsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan , located south of the Yaman-Yelginsk narrow gauge railway . Once upon a time there were forest villages on the line: Akmanayka 10 km, Simka 16 km, Beryozovka 18 km and others. The narrow gauge railway was suitable for the movement of heavy rolling stock along the entire narrow gauge railway. As of 1999, it was operational, despite the fact that deforestation on it stopped back in the 1980s. It was a diesel locomotive TU6A, on which local residents went to mow and harvest hay. Also, motorized tires walked on it. From 2001 to 2006, it was completely eliminated.
