Squamous red [3] ( Cucujus cinnaberinus (lat.) ) - a species of beetle-squamous . The body length of an adult insect (imago) is 11–15 mm [4] . The body is red. Mandibles , antennae , narrow lateral margin of pronotum , most of the chest side of the body and legs black. They live under the bark of oak (especially) and maple , less often conifers [4] .
