Features
HD 191760 is a G-class star; for the first time in astronomical literature, it is mentioned in the catalog of Henry Draper , published at the beginning of the 20th century . The mass and radius of the star are 1.28 and 1.62 solar, respectively. [1] The surface temperature is about 5821 Kelvin . The age of the star is estimated at approximately 4.1 billion years.
Planet System
In 2009, a team of astronomers from the CHEPS project (Calan-Hertfordshire Extrasolar Planet Search) announced the discovery [1] of two planets in the system - HD 191760 b and HD 191760 c . Both of them are gas giants , turning very close to the parent star. At the moment, their existence is not confirmed.
