Gameplay
Lord of Arcana is a role-playing game with a large deviation to action, where players, gathered in a team of up to four people, fight with various monsters and demons. In terms of gameplay, the game resembles such series as Monster Hunter , God Eater and Phantasy Star Portable , however, it differs in more cinematic kill scenes and the presence of various mini-games. Many of the monsters presented in one form or another have already figured in the classic Square Enix role-playing games, for example, in Final Fantasy . By analogy with this series, the player has the ability to summon powerful mythical creatures to the battlefield, which have a decisive influence on the course of the battle.
Story
The game takes place in the fictional world of Khorodin, named after the first king to rule these lands. Somewhere here is an ancient magic stone known as the Arcana, which, according to legends, has tremendous magical power. Many brave warriors set off on a journey in search of a stone, wanting to take possession of its power, however, during the journey they have to defeat the hordes of terrible monsters abound in Khorodin.
Development
Creation of designs of monsters, as in the case of the card Lord of Vermilion , was done by many artists from around the world. The music and sound producers were composers Nobuo Uematsu and Hitoshi Sakimoto , who also took part in the Lord of Vermilion project.
