The body length of adults (adults) is 4-8 mm [4] . The body on top is black or black-bronze. They live on coniferous trees: European spruce , Scots pine and European cedar pine , white fir , European larch [3] [4] .
It occurs in Europe and the European part of Russia (north to the Murmansk region ), in Siberia and the Far East , Mongolia and North Africa [3] .
