Aviamotornaya is a station under construction on the Big Ring Line of the Moscow Metro. It will be connected by a transfer with the station of the same name on the Kalinin line . It will be located in the Lefortovo region ( SEAD ) along the Enthusiasts passage . It is planned to open the station in 2020 as part of the Nizhny Novgorod - Lefortovo section [1] , which will function as an extension of the Nekrasov line [5] .

Previously, it was planned to build a station as part of the Nekrasov line, and then transfer it to the Great Ring Line [6] .
Content
Design
The first project to build a chord line with a junction at the Aviamotornaya station appeared in 1985. This project has been repeatedly corrected [3] .
In February 2011, it announced plans to build a new Kozhukhovskaya line from Aviamotornaya [7] . According to the initial project, it was supposed to make the “Aviamotornaya” deep station. In November 2011, the plans were adjusted, and it was decided to build a shallow station [3] . It is also planned that the Aviamotornaya station will be part of the transport and interchange hub [8] .
In April 2012, it was announced that the Kozhukhovskaya line could be extended from Aviamotornaya to the city center [9] .
Construction
To free the site for the construction of the station and the interchange hub, the Lefortovo market was closed and demolished [10] .
The construction of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line was promised to begin in 2012 [11] . As of May 2014, drilling operations related to engineering and geological surveys are being carried out geographically at the site of the future station.
In February 2017, the construction of the northern lobby began [12] .
In mid-September 2017, tunneling of the left distillation tunnel between the Lefortovo and Aviamotornaya stations was started [13] . The passage of the right distillation tunnel from Lefortovo station towards Aviamotornaya began in mid-October 2017 [14] .
On July 31, 2018, the right distillation tunnel from Lefortovo Station to Aviamotornaya Station was completed [15] [16] . The passage of the left distillation tunnel was completed on August 8, 2018.
September 4, 2018 . The sinking of the left distillation tunnel from Aviamotornaya to Nizhny Novgorod has been completed.
September 14, 2018 . The completion of the right distillation tunnel from Aviamotornaya to Nizhny Novgorod has been completed.
October 15, 2018 . The start of the right distillation tunnel from platform 25.3 to Aviamotornaya began [17] . The passage of the left distillation tunnel started on November 16, 2018.
April 1, 2019. Specialists began the construction of an inclined tunnel for escalators at the station [18] .
June 13, 2019 . The right distillation tunnel between the Nizhny Novgorod and Aviamotornaya stations was completed [19] .
July 25, 2019. The finishing of the platform of the Aviamotornaya station began, and in parallel, subsystems for aluminum rack panels are mounted on the track walls. The main plant designs are 77% complete. Waterproofing and installation of escalators in the south lobby are ongoing. In the distillation tunnels to the Lefortovo station, a running rail was mounted [20] .

The station is located in a place that was previously occupied by the Lefortovo market and the Mosgortrans traction electrical substation [6] [21] .
Will have two vestibules. The northern lobby will be connected to the station with a perpendicular approach corridor under the railway tracks and four escalators and have access to the intersection of Aviamotornaya and Krasnokazarmennaya streets. The southern lobby will be located on the site of the Entuziastov Passage tram terminal station [22] and will be connected to the station by four escalators.
At the base of the station, a transport hub will be built. It will include two metro stations, the Novaya railway platform of the Kazan and Ryazan directions of the Moscow Railway, as well as public transport stops. Putting into operation of the TPU technological part is planned simultaneously with the opening of the station, at the end of 2018 [6] , the TPU commercial part is planned to be opened in mid-late 2019. It will include 10-15 storey buildings with offices and apartments, as well as 10 thousand m² of retail space, which will be a modern alternative to the previously located market [21] .

The design of the station is a three-span shallow pillar. In the center of the hall, the transition to the Kalinin line will begin [2] .
