Loretta Chase ( born Loretta Chase ), nee Loretta LindaChekani is an American writer of Albanian origin, the author of women's novels.

Biography
Loretta Linda Tsekani was born in 1949 [2] in a family of Albanian Americans.
She studied at the public schools of New England , and then received a bachelor's degree from Clark University , where she specialized in English and literature. During her studies, she alternated small part-time work with teaching practice, and also took a six-month “Dickens practice” as parking meter
After graduating from college, she first applied her writing skills in practice, creating a catalog for the exhibition [3] . Later, she began working as a screenwriter for a corporate video. During the execution of one of these orders, she met video producer Chase, who persuaded her to start writing novels, and whom she later married, becoming Mrs. Chase.
Her first manuscript, "Isabella" ( born Isabella ), was purchased by the first editor to read it in New York, which began Loretta's successful career as the author of romantic novels.

Loretta Chase won two awards from the Romantic Writers of America ( RITA® Award ):
- Best Novel winner (1991): The Sandalwood Princess (Sandalwood Princess)
- Best Novel winner (1996): Lord of Scoundrels (Bride of the Mad Earl)
Her books also received several awards from the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice , various RRA-L awards ( English Romance Readers Anonymous ) and many times got into the "Top 100" All About Romance "" ( All About Romance Top 100 Romances award ) [5] .
