Beautiful entoloma ( lat.Entoloma nitidum ) is a species of fungi that belongs to the genus Entoloma ( Entoloma ) of the family Entoloma ( Entolomataceae ). In the system, M. Nordelos is included in the subgenus Entoloma . In 2011, allocated to the genus Entocybe .

Biological Description- The hat is 2-5 cm in diameter, in young mushrooms of a conical or hemispherical shape, then opens to a convex, less often to almost flat, usually with a noticeable tubercle in the center, in young mushrooms with a turned edge, non-hygrophic . The surface of the hat is gray-blue, sometimes in the center blue-black, fading only slightly with age, silky-fibrous, more or less smooth, shiny.
- The flesh is usually thin, whitish, dense, without much taste, with a slight rare or floury odor.
- The plateau hymenophore , the plates are quite frequent, adhered to the stalk or almost free of it, first whitish, then acquire a pinkish tint, with a smooth edge.
- Leg 3-8.5 cm long and 0.2-0.5 cm thick, smooth, shiny, longitudinally lined, sometimes curled, the same color with a hat or lighter, whitish or yellowish in the lower part. The ring is missing.
- The spore powder is pinkish in color. Spores 6.5-9 × 5.5-8 microns, 6-8 coal. Four-spore basidia , with buckles, 24–45 × 7.5–12.5 microns. Cystides are absent. The cuticle of the cap - ixokutis , consists of narrow cylindrical hyphae up to 6 microns thick.
The toxic properties of beautiful entoloma have not been studied; it is considered an inedible mushroom.
Habitat and EcologyEntoloma beautiful is widespread in Europe , but is quite rare. Also known from North America . It grows singly or in small groups on coniferous and mixed forests, usually on acidic soils.
