Biography and career
Born in Harlem , New York , in a Dominican family . Rasuk was accepted into the school of performing arts as a teenager and began acting on TV shows at the age of 14.
He got his first movie role, immediately the main one, at the age of 16 in the short film Five Feet and Above . The film won the Sundance Independent Film Festival in the Short Film category, and in Cannes won the first prize of the Cinefondation. Two years later, the director of the short film, Peter Sollet , made on its basis a full-length film - Victor Vargas Youth , where Rasuk again played a major role. Then Victor Rasuk played in the “Harbor” , with Orlando Bloom in the title role. In 2005, the film " Dogtown Kings " was shot. In it, Victor plays the role of Tony Alva . The film had many scenes with tricks on surfing and skateboard. Although more complex maneuvers were performed by stuntmen, Rasuk performed many tricks on his own.
