Geographical position
Piblange is located 23 km northeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Eberswiller in the north, Estrof and Anselen in the northeast, Gomlange in the southeast, Burtonkur in the south, Abonkur in the west.
The municipality included 4 former settlements: actually Piblange, Bocange, Drony and Saint Bernard.
History
- Traces of Gallo-Roman culture, in particular the tiles of that era.
- The commune of the former Duchy of Lorraine belonged to the former Abbey of Villery-Bettnash.
