Biography

Born November 10, 1983 in Longview , Texas ( USA ) and raised in Lindale (Texas). Her father (Richard Lee "Rick" Lambert), a retired policeman who later became a private detective in partnership with her mother (Beverly June Lambert née Hughes). Miranda grew up next to her father’s arms and became an avid deer hunter. At the age of 9, her parents drove her daughter to the concert of the country star Garth Brooks and then she became interested in country style music. At 16, she became a member of the Johnny High Country Music Review (Arlington, TX), which began her career as Liann Rimes . Miranda began to write her songs, playing along with the guitar [1] [2] [3] .

In 2008, Lambert was included at number 90 in the list of "100 Best Country Singers" ( 100 Greatest Women of Country Music) [4] .

In 2006, Miranda began dating country singer Blake Shelton [5] and sang along with him in the 2008 song “ Home ” (a country cover for the song by American singer Michael Buble ). [6] Then there were two more recordings and a joint performance of “Bare Skin Rug” for his studio album Startin 'Fires , released in 2008. [7] [8] They eventually got married on May 14, 2011 at the Don Strange Ranch ranch ( Boerne , Texas). [8] Among the 550 guests at their wedding, there were such stars as Riba McIntyre , Kelly Clarkson , Cee Lo Green , Martina McBride , Dirks Bentley , Charles Kelly , Bellamy Brothers [9] . July 20, 2015 they officially divorced [10] .

In 2011, she joined the Pistol Annies trio. On November 9, 2011, Miranda's new album debuted at number one on the Top Country Albums chart . As a result, she became the first performer in the 47 years of the existence of this nationwide country chart who managed to immediately get to No. 1 with all her first four albums. With a circulation of 133,000 copies (according to Nielsen SoundScan ), Four The Record also hit No. 3 (its best career result) in the Billboard 200 main charts. [eleven]

In 2014, the Platinum album, which received a Grammy Award in the category of Best Country Album, achieved great success [12] .

In 2011-2015, Miranda was married to musician Blake Shelton [1] [10] . Since January 26, 2019, Lambert has been married for the second time to a New York Police Department officer, Brandon McLoughlin . Lambert confirmed this fact on social networks on February 16, 2019 [13] [14] [15] .
